The Labyrinth is a walking meditation that weaves the the circle and the spiral into one single purposeful, wandering path.
The two most prevalent styles of labyrinth are the Chartres and the Classical.
This ancient, universal, divine imprint is found in all cultures and belief systems and is connected to sacred sites throughout the world.
Labyrinths are re-emerging today to facilitate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being; thus, the universe's transformation and return to sacred balance.
Walking or finger tracing a labyrinth calms the mind and soothes the emotions. It enhances relaxation, focus, self-reflection, problem solving, insight and inspiration. It guides you to your center, to your higher self and to realizations about your unique and very essential place in the Oneness of All.
By bringing people together on a common path, the labyrinth creates, builds and strengthens community.

"The first time I walked the labyrinth was an incredible experience. I didn't know what to expect and thought I may do something wrong. Nancy told me there were no right or wrongs it would be my own experience. I followed the beautiful laid out path that had not disturbed the nature of the land, from the twisted trees as they saw fit to grow to the mysterious pieces of nature that had been placed along the way. The sun was shining that day. Its rays filtered through to the path, the birds were singing and I felt so much peace. The most surprising experience was as I walked I felt like my feet were lifting off the ground from the energy. I wanted everyone to know this peace and solitude.
